View ↓Marine Aluminum Welding, Repair & Fabrication
Saltwater is where aluminum welds are won or lost. We repair cracked transoms, hull fatigue, T-top and cobia tower frames, pontoon floats, rails, and fittings, with the filler wire matched to your boat’s alloy instead of whatever is on the shelf. The wrong wire can look fine at the dock and fail in a season.
We also design and build custom marine aluminum from scratch: cobia towers, T-tops, fishing rigging, rod holders, rails, brackets, and anything else your boat needs. Every build is made to the owner’s spec, around how you fish and how your boat is set up.

Cast Aluminum Repair
Cracked bell housings, transmission cases, intake manifolds, oil sumps, engine blocks, and wheel rims. Cast aluminum is full of impurities and old oil, and most shops won’t touch it. We clean it properly, pick the right filler for the casting, and weld it back to full strength.
Manifolds & Sumps
We use high-silicon 4047 and 4943 filler wires to make sealed, crack-resistant repairs on parts that hold oil, coolant, or pressure.
Engine Blocks & Housings
4943 filler gives us up to 25% more yield strength than standard 4043, which matters on a block or housing under load. See our Cub Cadet engine repair.
Stainless, Cast Iron & Titanium Welding
Exhaust systems, manifolds, engine components, and structural repairs in stainless steel, cast iron, and titanium, including aviation-grade stainless work on CH-47 Chinook gas turbine engine components. Each metal needs its own process, and we match the filler, heat, and technique to the job.
Stainless & Titanium
Clean, properly shielded TIG welds on stainless exhausts, food and marine fittings, and titanium parts, where contamination or the wrong heat ruins the metal.
Cast Iron Repair
Cast iron fractures if it’s welded hot and cooled fast. We preheat, weld with nickel-iron filler, and slow-cool under a welding blanket, so the repair holds instead of fracturing again beside the weld. Manifolds, housings, brackets, and machinery castings.
Manual Machine Shop
Shaft and bearing repair, cylinder head and exhaust manifold resurfacing, surface grinding, keyways on our metal shaper, and parts made from a sample with no drawing needed. With welding and machining under one roof, we can weld up a worn part and machine it back to size in the same shop. Recent work includes a CH-47 Chinook refueling probe mount, a Yanmar saildrive shaft, and classic Corvette exhaust manifolds.

Trailer Repairs & Modifications
Utility, boat, enclosed, flatbed, and car hauler trailers, in steel and aluminum. We repair cracked frames, coupler tabs, ramps, crossmembers, and tongues, and we fix the weakness that caused the fracture instead of just patching over it. Recent Project: Car Hauler Upgrades for a Show Truck
The owner of this aluminum car hauler trailer transports a fully restored 1980s Chevy truck to classic car shows around the country, and he couldn’t risk rocks and road debris hitting it on the way. We designed and installed a 3/16" thick 5052 aluminum rock guard across the front of the trailer. We also added a locking bar so the removable ramps can’t be stolen from their storage spot under the bed. The ramps used to twist and shift as the truck drove up them, so we fabricated two drilled cleats for each ramp with locating pins that hold the ramps solid while in use.

Custom equipment, brackets, mounts, frames, and specialty parts built to your specifications in aluminum, stainless, and steel. If it doesn’t exist off the shelf, we design it and build it, one at a time and done right.
Recent Project: CH-47 Chinook Aluminum Maintenance Gantry
We built a full aluminum reproduction of a steel CH-47 Chinook maintenance gantry: a 24-foot rolling base frame with a stair to a work platform 9 feet up. It stands on nine leveling jacks, including three removable front extension jacks we designed and built, so it sits solid and level beside the aircraft. Aluminum makes it far lighter to move around the hangar than the steel original, and we improved on the design as we built it. We added stringers at the connection points to stiffen the frame, UHMW slide pads to stop aluminum-on-aluminum galling, slide-in locking pins in place of bolted hardware on the moving parts, and a removable platform extension for the wide-body Chinook. It’s all bolted together, so it can be modified as the customer’s needs change.

Aluminum TIG Welding Training
Learn aluminum TIG welding from a shop that does it every day. Our hands-on course is taught one-on-one in our shop, not in a crowded classroom, so you get real time under the hood with an experienced welder beside you.
Sixteen hours, beginner through to AWS D1.2 test prep. We cover machine setup, tungsten prep, filler wire selection (including why 4043 isn’t always the right choice), and the technique to lay clean, sound aluminum welds. It’s an old-school approach with no fluff. You’ll leave knowing how to weld aluminum.
